Saying that the decisions of the "Vereins gegen die deutschen Bühnen" against the German authors are merely a change (Wandel) and must be strenuously opposed: Strauss cannot endorse a comlpiance with the publishers of [Mozart's] Idomeneo with regard to the high cost of the performing materials and royalties.
